The interrogation focuses on a businessman’s email about a “house for the minister”
The interrogation focuses on an email sent by businessman Manuel Salles in January 2022 in which it was said: “Villafuel is not going to be a (hydrocarbon) operator no matter how much it sponsors Zamora, takes shares in the tower restaurants or maintains the rent on a house for the former Minister of Development.”
The popular accusations led by the PP have asked businessman Israel Pilar Ortiz about this message, who has stated that Salles told her that he had sent an email with “inflammatory” content. “We laughed and that was it,” he pointed out and then stressed that he did not receive the aforementioned ’email’. Furthermore, he has pointed out that Salles even boasted that Ábalos had found out and that he said he was going to “burn the convent.”
Only the prosecutor has asked this witness about his alleged participation in the mask plot. “Víctor (Aldama) told me that Spain was in a critical situation, that there was no material, and that I could move something with my contacts,” he stressed.
