The Ministry of Equality, led by Ana Redondo (PSOE), has commissioned a legal report on the distribution system used by the Community of Madrid, chaired by Isabel Díaz Ayuso (PP), for the funds of the Co-Responsible Plan. The central Executive considers “atypical, in relation to the rest of the communities”, that these state aid managed by the regions to promote the equitable distribution of care are distributed through personal income tax. And it has not gone unnoticed that an entity linked to the Legionaries of Christ has been among the beneficiaries in Madrid. “The Ministry will review all the activities that have been assigned to the plan and if they do not meet its objectives, they will be asked to withdraw,” they explain in Igualdad. The regional Executive, for its part, defends that its formula allows third sector entities to benefit and argues that “the call is totally transparent and fully complies with the specific objectives of the plan.”
