The National Court has convicted 11 members of the youth gang Dominican Don’t Play (DDP) for their membership in the criminal organization and two of them, in addition, for the crime of currency counterfeiting. All of them belong to the group that the gang had in Seseña (Toledo) and that had been involved in numerous violent episodes in Madrid. Among them, a homicide in February 2022 of which the accused gang member has been acquitted, because the court has not considered the identification of a witness sufficient. It was the first time that a youth band has been tried in the National Court.
