The National Police arrested two people this Tuesday in the Biscayan towns of Bilbao and Getxo for their alleged links with the pro-Iranian Lebanese militia Hezbollah, as confirmed by EL PAÍS in police sources. The arrests, which were scheduled for a few days, have had to be rushed after a judicial document of the case was disseminated on an Internet medium in which the National Court authorized the arrest of both, as well as the search of their homes and that of the mother of one of them. The two arrested are accused of managing a Telegram channel in which “pro-terrorist content” from both the Shiite militia and Palestinian armed groups were disseminated, with images of attacks on Israeli soldiers, as detailed in the judicial document to which this newspaper has had access.
