Google is offering a new personalization feature. Now when you’re looking for the latest headlines, you can specify which sources you prefer in your settings. This personalization allows users to find their favorite media bundled in the headlines without having to search through each individual page.

Other relevant sources will also continue to be displayed. However, those selected as “preferred sources” in the settings appear more often in the headlines box. In some cases, preferred sources will also appear in an additional box entitled “From Your Sources” below the regular headlines.

You can specify as many websites as preferred sources and change them at any time in the settings.

To use this feature, you first need a Google account. Here you can then change the settings directly in the search. Simply enter a keyword or search for a current event that interests you. Then scroll to the headlines. The segment with the headlines is not always right at the top.

Here you can then click on the map symbol next to “Headlines” and specify your preferred sources:
