A fire in the town of Villanueva de los Castillejos (Huelva) has covered the sky of the Andalusian city and other towns on the Huelva coast with a dense cloud of smoke and ashes, running from west to east of the province. The fire has forced the preventive evacuation of some 365 people and the closure of the A-495 highway between San Bartolomé de la Torre and Villanueva de los Castillejos, at kilometer 8 and 10.7. 19 aerial vehicles and more than 110 ground personnel have come to work in the area, including pumpers, checkpoints and trucks, who have doubled up to fight the flames during the night.
