Koldo García will have to wait in prison for the sentence on the mask plot. The Supreme Court has rejected this Monday the request for release that his lawyer requested last Wednesday, before the trial for the alleged plot surrounding mask contracts in the Ministry of Transportation during the José Luis Ábalos era was heard for sentencing. The Criminal Chamber, in a ruling to which EL PAÍS has had access, points out that, after the oral hearing, none of the circumstances that were assessed last November to decree provisional detention for the former minister and his former ministerial advisor have changed.
