If time is the Mediterranean and the boat is its voice, Maria del Mar Bonet sails through it with calm, pause and serenity. Oblivious to ups and downs and noises, leaving behind calm waters and always maintaining her own course, the Mallorcan singer has left behind 60 years of journeys that she is just now beginning to celebrate. The Palau de la Música was the first port of this cruise, which will shortly, in October, return it to its Olympia de Paris meaning. But it is not time to look back for Maria del Mar, who with a new album revives a magnificent repertoire, shows a splendid state with a voice that gains body and shows that looking back, no matter how much memory and achievement there is, does not exempt the look forward. This was demonstrated exquisitely in the modernist venue.
