The Civil and Investigation Section of the Court of Instance of Mislata (Valencia), Plaza number 4, has prosecuted an engineer and the owners of the inflatable that flew in January 2022 for not being properly anchored and caused the death of Vera and Cayetana, two girls aged 4 and 8, while at the same time it has dismissed the procedure opened against the municipal technician as it did not see criminal responsibility.
