The investigation led by Judge José Luis Calama into the alleged crimes committed by former President Zapatero will continue, but without measures restricting his rights, as requested by the accusations. They are the two most important aspects of what happened after the first statement by the former head of the Government in relation to the rescue of the Plus Ultra airline and the appearance of a series of jewels of unknown origin in the safe of the official office of the person under investigation. When it is said that we must let justice work, and that we must respect its time to clarify the facts, we are talking about this, about what happened yesterday, about respect for a series of actions and procedural procedures in which the parties legitimately represented in a process are heard. In political headquarters there are other rituals and other rhythms. In the judicial system there is less room for passion and partisan interest, and more guarantees of respect for the rights of all, in the terms established by legislation.
