The final appraisal of the batch of jewelry seized by the Police in the office of former Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero puts the total value at around 1.3 million euros, as sources close to the investigation have confirmed to EL PAÍS. The valuation was carried out by the Ansorena jewelry store, after the instructor of the Plus Ultra case At the National Court, José Luis Calama, ordered this exhaustive analysis of the pieces to be carried out. The jewelry house sent the most valuable stones to be certified by the Spanish Gemological Institute, which has collaborated in the appraisal of authentic sapphires, rubies and emeralds.
