The campaign of the main candidates for the Junta de Andalucía is beginning to gain momentum while waiting for the first debate next Monday, which will force them to define the strategies for the following weeks until May 17. The candidates, this Saturday, have been fine-tuning their electoral tune. The regional president and candidate for reelection for the PP, Juan Manuel Moreno, has chosen to exploit the asset of citizen sympathy, with visits to popular festivals in the province of Córdoba and a rally against bullying; the leader of the PSOE of Andalusia, María Jesús Montero, has claimed the defense of her party’s feminism; Manuel Gavira, from Vox, has not moved one iota from the “national priority”; the candidate of Por Andalucía, Antonio Maíllo, has influenced the reinforcement of public services; and José Ignacio García, from Adelante Andalucía, has incorporated the defense of quality in school canteens into the debate, a constant demand of his coalition in this legislature.
