Philipp Richter becomes Chief People Officer at Personio

Personio has appointed Philipp Richter as Chief People Officer. Richter has been with the company for six years, initially as Chief of Staff for CEO Hanno Renner and as Managing Director of the Personio Foundation. In the meantime, he took over the CPO function on an interim basis. In his new role, he is responsible for the people teams and is expected to incorporate insights from internal HR transformation directly into the product offering for around 16,000 customers in Europe. “Few people know Personio’s business and culture as well as Philipp,” emphasizes Renner. “He has taken on this role before and I am delighted that he is now carrying it out in full.”

Ursula Porth is leaving the All for One Group on August 1, 2026. The CHRO has been working for the IT and consulting company since November 2024 and in this role is responsible for the development and further development of the People & Culture organization. Porth announced her departure in a LinkedIn statement in mid-June. Accordingly, she will start a new professional chapter from August. She has not yet provided any information about her future position or her new employer. Before moving to All for One Group, Porth worked for Software AG for 25 years, where, among other things, she was responsible for the global areas of Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, People Development, Global Learning and Culture as Senior Vice President HR.

Schaeffler extends the contract of HR Director Dr. Astrid Fontaine

The Supervisory Board of Schaeffler AG has approved Dr. Astrid Fontaine’s position as Human Resources Director and Labor Director has been extended by five years until December 31, 2031. Fontaine has been working for the automotive supplier based in Herzogenaurach since January 2024 and is responsible for the group’s human resources work with around 110,000 employees worldwide. Chairman of the Supervisory Board Georg FW Schaeffler emphasized that over the past two and a half years she had provided important impetus to position the human resources organization in a future-oriented manner. With his reappointment, Fontaine will continue to support the ongoing corporate transformation and support Schaeffler in developing from a traditional supplier into a provider of digital business models. To this end, the company is working on, among other things, humanoid robots and components for the defense industry.

Lydia Zollinger leaves CH Media

Lydia Zollinger is leaving the Swiss media company after four years as HR manager at CH Media. The company announced the departure at the end of May 2026. Zollinger will continue in her role until the end of August 2026. According to the company, during her term of office she drove forward the digitalization of HR processes and the further development of employer branding and initiated “important change processes”. No details have yet been announced about her future work or a succession plan at CH Media. In the company’s press release, Zollinger explained that now is the right time for her to develop both personally and professionally.

Tatjana Thiel has been CHRO at Beckers Group since June

The Beckers Group has appointed Tatjana Thiel as Chief Human Resources Officer effective June 1, 2026. Thiel reports directly to Group CEO Christophe Sabas and is part of the global leadership team based in Berlin. According to the company, she brings more than 25 years of international HR experience from the industry, most recently as Senior Vice President and CHRO of the Electrified Powertrain department at ZF Friedrichshafen. There she was also a member of the division management board. According to its own information, Beckers Group is the global market leader in metal strip coating and employs around 1,700 people in 18 countries.

Sébastien Lucina moves from BabyOne to Takko Fashion

Sébastien Lucina has left BabyOne after almost five years and is taking over the role of Director HR at Takko Fashion. At BabyOne he worked as Director People, Culture & Organization and worked closely with the management around Dr. Anna Weber and Dr. Jan-Willem Weischer together. Lucina confirmed his departure at the end of May 2026 and his move to the textile discounter via a LinkedIn statement.

Mercedes-Benz combines human resources and IT in a new board department

Mercedes-Benz is giving HR Director Britta Seeger additional global responsibility for Group IT. The Stuttgarter Zeitung reported this at the beginning of June. The newly created department is called “People & Enterprise Tech” and thus combines two areas central to digital transformation under one leadership. IT responsibility is moving from the direct area of ​​responsibility of CEO Ola Källenius to Seeger. The 56-year-old manager has been working for the Stuttgart car company since 1989. Before her appointment as human resources manager, she managed global sales for several years.

Dr. Doris Radatz becomes labor director at Stromnetz Berlin

Stromnetz Berlin GmbH has Dr. Doris Radatz appointed Labor Director and Managing Director of Human Resources on June 1, 2026. The doctor of law is taking on a newly created role and, in addition to human resources, is also responsible for the IT of the Berlin distribution network operator. Radatz moved from the Deutsche Bahn Group, where she had worked as Human Resources Managing Director and Labor Director of the DB Bahnbau Group since 2019. She previously held management positions in human resources and labor law at Deutsche Bahn, the private mobility provider Transdev and Deutsche Post. According to company information, the new position was created because Stromnetz Berlin now employs more than 2,000 people. As soon as this number of employees is reached, the so-called Co-Determination Act (MitbestG) comes into effect, which also provides for the function of a labor director in the management structure of a company. Together with the chairmen Dr. Erik Landeck and Bernhard Büllmann form Radatz’s three-person management team.

Frank Block takes over human resources at Edeka headquarters

The Hamburg headquarters of Edeka has appointed Frank Block as the new head of the human resources division. He succeeds Dr. Tanja Wöbken, who left the company after around one and a half years. Block is no stranger to the Edeka group: he has previously worked, among other things, as an employee representative and as a company data protection officer at the Edeka headquarters. By choosing an internal candidate, the head office says it is relying on continuity and organizational knowledge after Wöbken’s comparatively short stint. The human resources department is assigned to the Finance and Human Resources board department, which Peter Keitel is responsible for.
