The leader of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, spoke this Monday about the process of regularization of immigrants and the law on grandchildren; and has stated: “We need immigrants to improve our economy, yes; but no irregulars.” “We have the right for citizens who enjoy our public services to contribute, work, and for them to also comply with the laws with the same rigor as us,” defended Feijóo, who also spoke of “avoiding the call effect.” Furthermore, the popular leader has announced that, if he comes to power, he will approve a state law to provide aid to the conceived and unborn, inspired by that of the Government of Isabel Díaz Ayuso in Madrid. “I will make a national law so that the conceived and unborn child has an impact on the family that is waiting for him,” he expressed in an interview on Antena 3. On the other hand, the general secretary of the Andalusian PSOE, María Jesús Montero, has accused the Popular Party of “taking each and every one of Vox’s precepts to heart,” after the agreement reached to invest the popular Juan Manuel Moreno as president of Andalusia. In an interview on Cadena Ser, Montero has warned that this pact, of 150 points, “goes beyond” those reached in other communities where the PP has needed the support of the ultras to govern.
