The urbanization works on Barcelona’s Gran Via and the doubling of the tram tracks – between Badajoz and Bilbao streets – will cause cuts on the three Trambesòs lines (T4, T5 and T6) during this summer. The interruptions to the tram service will be carried out in stages between July 3 and September 13 and will affect the majority of the route that this rail transport takes in the city of Barcelona. In fact, according to data from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (ATM), last year – in the same period of time – between 2.6 and 2.8 million trips were made on the three lines.
