A plot with two bosses. A minister with a lot of influence and a businessman willing to pay for it. That is the photograph left by almost 12 hours of testimony from the agents of the Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard who have intervened in the investigation that has put José Luis Ábalos, Koldo García and Víctor de Aldama in the dock. The agents have placed the former Minister of Transport and the businessman and commission agent at the top of the “criminal organization” that is being tried in the Supreme Court. Ábalos, according to the UCO, was “the instrumental boss,” the one who opened doors and who took Aldama and his partners to places they would not have reached on their own. But they also do not doubt that the “real boss” of the plot was Aldama, who had “on his salary” an entire minister and secretary of Organization of the PSOE and his advisor, and managed to “buy his will” with perks.
