Leo XIV’s trip through Spain will conclude in the Canary Islands, with visits to Gran Canaria and Tenerife. Given the forecast of a large influx of public, the councils of both islands have asked the Canary Islands Government to suspend classes and have recommended prioritizing teleworking during the days of the visit. In addition, administrations have enabled park and ride facilities and special bus services to facilitate travel and reduce the use of private vehicles.
