The forest fire declared this Monday in the area of Los Turbios, in Villanueva de los Castillejos (Huelva), remains active and presents a very complex evolution. The affected area exceeds 5,000 hectares, as stated at midday this Wednesday by the acting Emergency Minister of the Andalusian Government, Antonio Sanz. 113 troops and 50 vehicles of the Military Emergency Unit (UME) have been working on the ground since four in the morning, after the Junta of Andalusia raised the emergency plan to operational situation 2 late on Tuesday night and requested the intervention of the specialized Army unit.
