David Sánchez, brother of the President of the Government, has been sitting in the dock since this Thursday at the beginning of the trial for the alleged irregularities in his hiring, in 2017, in the Badajoz Provincial Council. Sánchez, who has entered the Badajoz Court through the back door to avoid the media, and the former socialist leader of Extremadura Miguel Gallardo face the request of the popular accusations, headed by the pseudo-union Manos Cleans and among which are also PP, Vox and ultra organizations, three years in prison for the brother of the head of the Executive and for Gallardo for the alleged commission of two continuing crimes of influence peddling in competition medial of administrative prevarication and illegal appointment. For their part, the Prosecutor’s Office and the defense demand acquittal.
