The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has demanded from the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, the same level of demand against cases of corruption that affect Ayuso as for those of the Government or the PSOE. “The level of demand that is applied to everyone, will be practiced internally with the news that we have just learned about Mrs. Ayuso’s partner,” he said, in reference to the news that Alberto González Amador invoiced 4.4 million euros to the company Quironsalud. Sánchez has shown the PSOE’s “backing, empathy and support” for former president José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero after his statement on Wednesday before the National Court. For his part, the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, described this Thursday as “unfair and illegal” the decision of the Congress Board, with a majority of PSOE and Sumar, to prevent the PP and Junts amendments to a popular motion to ask the President of the Government to dissolve the Cortes and call early elections from being debated and voted on Thursday.
