Mending in Rhineland-Palatinate: Police rescue men from lava tunnel

In the middle of a cooled lava flow, a network of rock cellars stretches beneath the town of Mendig – 32 meters deep. A group of men entered the area despite the ban and became disoriented. Numerous helpers had to arrive.
