The head of the opposition, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, addressed the members of the Executive this Wednesday during his speech in Congress and said: “We should throw out this Government with a motion of censure. For me, today.” At the moment it does not have enough support to move it forward. He has also addressed the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and accused him of being “the corrupting political nexus” of the cases that surround the PSOE. The PP leader has insisted on calling for elections: “Dissolve the courts and let’s go vote.” For his part, Sánchez spoke out during his appearance about the different judicial investigations. Regarding the case against the former president of the Government José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, he has been more cautious than in previous statements when stating that “no one can draw conclusions yet.” He has also spoken about his wife, Begoña Gómez, and has stated that the amount he “earned for directing the extraordinary category and developing software amounts to a total of 0 euros.” Regarding the case of José Luis Ábalos, Sánchez has insisted that he “never” knew “nor would he have tolerated any of these practices.” Junts spokesperson, Míriam Nogueras, has asked Sánchez to step aside and appoint a candidate who, in her opinion, has the ability to “deliver for Catalonia.” Podemos spokesperson, Ione Belarra, has told the President of the Government that “his political cycle has ended” and has demanded that he “make way” and call elections.
