Kaufbeuren will be the location for the Arrow 3 missile defense system

It should be able to destroy enemy missiles at an altitude of over 100 kilometers: The Bundeswehr wants to use the Arrow 3 missile defense system at three locations. One of them has now been unveiled by Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söder.
