Four people from the same family, including two children aged 17 and 14, died this Sunday afternoon after a traffic accident on the A-67 highway near Herrera de Pisuerga (Palencia) and there is a minor, nine years old, seriously injured. The adults were 48 and 45 years old. The car in which they were traveling towards Valladolid, where they came from, left the road and caused the accident, spinning several times, caused according to the first hypotheses by the driver’s drowsiness. The Government subdelegation in Palencia has reported the details of the event, which occurred on a day of intense traffic returning to the plateau after many weekend trips towards the Cantabrian coast. The Civil Guard initially cut off part of the highway and redirected other vehicles towards the adjacent national highway until it later cut off a lane of the A-67 and recontrolled traffic.
