There is no truce in Aragon this summer. In the last 20 days, seven fires have been declared in the autonomous territory. The last one, on the morning of this Wednesday, in the town of Orés, in the Zaragoza region of Cinco Villas, which at this time is advancing uncontrollably and has already caused the eviction of around 400 people in total from three municipalities in the area (Orés, Asín and Luesia). In addition, two nursing homes have been evacuated, and they have been moved to another center in the Aragonese capital. The Government of Aragon – which met this afternoon with its Crisis Coordination Center – has activated level 2 of the Civil Protection operation, which also involves mobilizing the Military Emergency Unit (UME).
