The fire declared this Monday in the municipality of Brieva (Segovia) has forced the evacuation of eight population centers in the area and maintains level 2 of the Potential Severity Index activated due to the threat it poses to nearby towns. Around midnight, sources from the firefighting operation reported that the fire “is completely out of control and is heading towards Turégano with force.” The same sources estimate an impact of around 3,000 hectares.
