The Civil Guard investigates the circumstances of the shooting that occurred on Saturday night

A 25-year-old man died this Saturday night on a street in Torrevieja (Alicante) due to a shooting in circumstances that the Civil Guard is investigating, according to investigation sources.

The event occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Bergantín Street, near Cura Beach, where several shots were fired and the victim, an Algerian national, had already died when the first agents arrived at the scene.

Everything indicates that the individual died from a gunshot wound, although the autopsy is pending at the Institute of Legal Medicine to confirm the exact cause of death.

With the support of the Criminalistics Laboratory of the Alicante Command, the territorial team of the judicial police of the Torrevieja Civil Guard has taken on the investigation to collect all possible evidence to clarify what happened, within an investigation that is being carried out by a city court with no arrests so far.
