With Sandra Preiser, HR expert at Nagarro, we welcome a new columnist to the HR JOURNAL. In her column she will deal with HR transformation, HR software and female leadership, taking up current trends, giving practical insights into her projects and sharing concrete experiences.
Sandra Preiser is Head of SAP HXM at Nagarro, a global digital engineering company listed in the TecDAX and SDAX. She primarily supports German medium-sized companies in the digital transformation towards modern human resources management. Topics that are particularly important to her: The strategic orientation of HR as a business partner, rethinking HR processes – seamlessly and across system boundaries -, AI, automation and digital innovation as well as everything about transformation and how it can succeed.
“No company doubts the need for digitalization anymore. But what does ‘digitalization’ actually mean for a company? What is important for supposed IT projects to be successful? For example, the awareness that digitalization is more than “just” an IT project, process thinking – seamless and across system boundaries – as well as clear project objectives and consistent implementation through to management. This is the only way to expand competitive advantages and identify trends,” says Sandra Preiser.
Sandra Preiser has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and human resources from the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University and a master’s degree in philosophy, politics, economy from the LMU Munich. She has been working at Nagarro’s Freiburg location for over seven years. Her focus is on comprehensive strategic consulting and the complete implementation of central HR solutions.
Sandra Preiser’s first article in the new column will appear on May 4, 2026.
