The National Court is secretly investigating whether there are civil guards involved in the second drug tunnel that was found in Ceuta at the beginning of April, as investigation sources have confirmed to EL PAÍS. The case keeps Ángel Albarracín, a retired civil guard, in provisional prison who, as the summary of the operation details, had two faces. He himself goes so far as to say in the recordings “I am not corrupt, I am a trafficker”, “they leave me near a puddle and I put whatever I can”, but before the judge he defended that if he was related to Mustapha Brouzi (the main person involved in this drug trafficking case) it was because the Civil Guard asked him to do so in February 2025, just when the first drug tunnel was discovered in the city.
