The Comptroller General of Andalusia, Miguel Ángel Figueroa, resigned this Friday after revealing links to the alleged plot of former socialist militant Leire Díez, who allegedly benefited from information provided by Figueroa during her time in the central government. Figueroa landed in the Andalusian General Intervention at the beginning of 2025 from the State Society of Industrial Participations (SEPI), where he arrived at the hands of his former president and friend Vicente Fernández.
