The Generalitat Firefighters have managed to stabilize the fire in Sant Quirze Safaja, in Barcelona, which has led to the preventive confinement of several houses and a rural hostel and the evacuation of a campsite and a campsite. So far this year, 320 fires have been recorded, almost triple the number in 2025, and the Ministry puts the number of large fires recorded at 15, double the average for the last decade.
