Bayeux Tapestry: Tapestry returns to England for the first time in almost 1,000 years

The carpet tells the story of the Norman conquest of England in 1066 in 58 scenes with more than 600 figures and around 500 animals. Now the fragile masterpiece has been brought to London under strict security precautions.
