The Spanish and Catalan economies expanded again last year at an unusual rate among large advanced economies. Catalonia, specifically, expanded by 2.7%, well above the euro zone as a whole. And he did it in a healthier way, according to the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce. The entity warns that a “sectoral recomposition” is taking place towards higher quality activities and anticipates that productivity will increase after investment per worker in 2025 reached historical highs.
