Nicole Schuler will take up her new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at Mann + Hummel (proper spelling MANN+HUMMEL) on June 1, 2026. Schuler is moving up from Group Vice President Global Business & Technical Solutions, which she has been at Mann + Hummel since 2023, to head of human resources.
The previous CHRO, Helena Hofer, will become CFO in the company. She has held this role on an interim basis since February 2026. She was CHRO at Mann + Hummel for around three and a half years.
Schuler comes from the finance sector
Schuler studied economics at Steinbeis University and completed an MBA at the Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences. She began her career in 2008 at Siemens in the finance department. After a professional break, she lived in Mexico for two and a half years and joined the consulting firm EY as a senior manager in 2020. From there, she moved to Mann + Hummel in 2023 as Group Vice President Global Business & Technical Solutions. CEO Kurk Wilks on the change: “I really appreciate Nicole’s commitment and look forward to working with her in her new role.”
Mann + Hummel specializes, among other things, in the production of filtration systems. In mid-April, the company announced that it would close its Speyer factory by 2028, cutting 600 jobs. The company closed its factory in Ludwigsburg in 2020. At a works meeting, IG Metall was critical of this because there was no exchange with the works council or the union before the decision to close Speyer. The filter manufacturer currently employs around 21,000 people at 80 locations worldwide.
