The first young man rescued is the one who is seriously injured, while minutes later they managed to rescue a second young man, in less serious condition. The two have been transferred to the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital. The emergency medical service (SEM) has activated six units and a joint team with the Fire Department.
Almost three hours after the notification of the collapse of the building, the Firefighters have managed to rescue the other two young people who had been trapped, who have emerged from the building unharmed, according to what the Firefighters have reported. The emergency department had been in contact with them the entire time, and they were “aware and oriented” at all times. The two young people have been transferred to the Martorell Hospital.
