The man has been evacuated by firefighters and transferred to the Joan XXIII Hospital in Tarragona.
A climber has been critically injured after falling from a height of about 20 meters in the area of Port Blau de los Estrets d’Arnes, in the Parc Natural dels Ports (Tarragona), from where he has been evacuated by Firefighters by helicopter to a nearby field area where he has been treated by the Sistema d’Emergències Mèdiques (SEM).
As explained by the firefighters in a note in
The injured man, who was left at the foot of the track, was immobilized in a bunk and was extracted using a crane, and was subsequently transferred by the SEM to the Joan XXIII University Hospital in Tarragona.
