A 16-year-old minor has been injured after being stabbed in the abdomen on Escoriaza Street, in Villaverde, in an event that the National Police is investigating.
As reported this Thursday by Emergencies Madrid and the Higher Police Headquarters, the event took place after five in the afternoon at number 16 of the aforementioned street. The Samur-Civil Protection health workers have treated the minor, who has been evacuated with a reserved prognosis to the 12 de Octubre hospital. The boy was admitted directly to the operating room and in principle there is no fear for his life.
Neither the weapon nor the perpetrator or perpetrators were at the scene, so the Police have started an investigation to clarify what happened and arrest the aggressors of the minor, a Spaniard born in the Dominican Republic. At the moment, no hypothesis regarding the motive for the stabbing has been ruled out, including an event related to gang members.
