The Firefighters faced this Tuesday for the second consecutive day, in the midst of a heat wave in Catalonia, a day with three new simultaneous fires, which have forced the residents of some towns to be confined and which are added to the one that was declared in Sentmenat (Barcelona). Dozens of crews are also working in Artesa de Segre (Lleida), in new fires such as the one in Torrefeta i Florejacs (Lleida) declared this Tuesday and in the Gavarres area of Girona. The Firefighters of the Generalitat have tonight considered controlled the fire that broke out last Friday in La Bisbal d’Empordà, in Girona, after burning an area of about 2,200 hectares, according to provisional data from the Rural Agents.
