The fire of two trucks has forced the AP-7 to be cut in both directions near Castellet i la Gornal (Barcelona) this Monday afternoon, the Servei Català de Trànsit (SCT) reported in a statement. The incident occurred due to “a side collision” between two vehicles – one of them was transporting aerosols – which ended up catching fire due to friction and increased temperature. Despite the spectacular nature of the accident due to the dense column of smoke, there were no injuries as a result of the crash.
