A man is in serious condition after being shot this Friday night when he was leaving a business in Barcelona, at whose doors the shooter was waiting for him, who fled the scene on a scooter.
Sources from the Mossos have confirmed to EFE the information advanced by The Newspaper about this case, of which the Catalan police were alerted at 9:44 p.m. and which took place on the corner of Sugranyes and Sant Frederic streets, in the Sants-Montjuïc district.
At that point, a man riding a scooter waited at the doors of the business for another to leave, at whom he fired several shots. At the scene, the injured man was treated by paramedics from the Medical Emergency System (SEM), who later transferred him to a hospital in serious condition.
The Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of the Mossos has opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances of this event, which due to its characteristics could respond to a settling of scores between gangs.
Last weekend, another 44-year-old man who had also been shot on April 14 on a terrace in the Poblenou neighborhood died in a Barcelona hospital, in this case apparently due to a settling of accounts between Balkan criminal groups.
