The victim was taken to the Moisès Broggi hospital for smoke inhalation.
A man has been transferred in serious condition due to smoke inhalation after a fire that affected a room on the ground floor of a building on Rafael Campalans street in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona), the Sistema d’Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) and Bombers de la Generalitat via X reported this Saturday.
The firefighters received the notification at 2:37 a.m. this Saturday and moved four crews to put out the fire that affected a room, where they located and rescued a man inside and, after checking the floors and the staircase, which was clean of smoke, they naturally ventilated the affected floor. The SEM has deployed 4 ambulances and the man has been transferred to the Moisès Broggi Hospital in Sant Joan Despí (Barcelona).
The Firefighters have also reported this Saturday of an intervention carried out in Centelles (Barcelona) on Friday night due to a gas leak recorded in a four-story building. The neighbors self-evacuated, except for one with reduced mobility, while the officers carried out measurements throughout the property and finally located the leak outside. The intervention team managed to stop the leak without any injuries being reported. The neighbor who remained confined was in good condition.
